My friend & I own a pretty crowded gaming forum. It receives 150,000+ page views & 18,000+ unique visitors daily. Though, both my friend & I are new to marketing & anything related to SEO. So we're going to need help/suggestions/tips from a webmaster forum of course.
You may give us suggestions/tips on how we can improve our site's SEO or you may simply post what you think about our site.

the stats which you have provided are pretty good for a forum ,Its seems a nice forum they layout is bit dark and one need to concentrate to read the things so you can change it.Overall nice forum social bookmarking can also help you
I'm not crazy about the dark background either, but with a gaming forum it probably works fine. You could start a thread asking members to decide if they like it so you can get a feel for what people think. Keep in mind that the people who like it aren't going to be letting you know they like it.
Overall it looks very nice. Definitely seems professionally done and looks really good.
SEO wise it looks like you did the basics. You have vBSEO installed. Maybe look through some of the documentation on configuring it to decide what settings you think best.
Since you have limited control over the content there's only so much you can do to optimize the content. What you can do is use primary keyword phrases in sections and topics. it seems like you've generally done that already. You could also specifically start threads around keyword phrases making sure to use those phrases in the thread title and probably in the tags you can add to the thread.
You'll also want to do what you can to get others to link back to the forum. Maybe create some badges that link back to the forum and provide the code for your members to use on their site. Run a contest that requires linking back to the forum in some way.
Ultimately your forum's success will depend on the quality of the community and the conversations so do what you can to foster food conversations and good members.
I think your forum is great looking. With the figure you just gave I guess you did a good job in optimizing your forum for search engine. The color scheme is perfect for the theme of your forum. I would be proud of owning that kind of site.
I have checked on you forum and I agree with the others who commented about the color. Yeah, I think you need it to modify a bit. But generally, the forum is great and healthy. I hope that your forum site continues to go stronger and healthier in the many years to come.
I agree with the others who commented about the colour. but also as some one elsa said start a topic on your forum about it and see what your members think as they are important.
i see the forum is run using vBulletin as i have not yet played with this im not to sure but i have played with phpbb and as theya re sort of the same idea you must be able to get ad ons for SEO.
but then again you dont have much control over what people are posting so it might be hard.
mabey make it so people have to add tags to there posts. just an idea but im pretty sure you can get tons of SEO ad ons for vBulletin
Thank you for your great suggestions & tips.
I will foward everything to my friend & we will work on it.

Yes as I have googled I saw that your forum is not getting displayed on the first few pages, so naturally you need SEO. But your forum is very well designed, and looks gorgeous, and a busy place too.
How many incoming links you have? You should buddy up with similar forums and communities. also use seo minded links to your forum e.g game hacks forum or whatever you want your main keywords to be.
Want to promote your forum then do some thing like PPC advertising and also include some good thread in your forum so the peoples comes and visit your forum and make it more and more informative.
