Finally got my website up and running; it has been for a few weeks now, but I never considered posting a review request until just now when I glanced over the forum.

Link: theInevitable

I know that as of now it doesn't have much content. All I'm really looking for is a review on the layout, content as of now, and the general idea of the site. Don't be afraid to tell me that it sucks!

Okay ~STequila, it sucks! I'm just kidding, 'cause you said we could do that. It doesn't really.

The site has a nice, simple look that looks good. I like the name of the site, along with the Inevitable Reviews, Inevitable Articles, etc.

Looks good. Could use a bit more color, maybe some section graphics to spice it up a bit. The header get's broken when viewing with opera. And the forums don't match at all with the rest of the design.

Overall I think it's a good design. Nice and simple and easy to navigate.

Nice and simple, I feel lost on what it`s about though, IMO the colours although nice are dull, I don`t like the graphic saying "navigation", the header is off in Opera, well done and good luck.

It was very slow loading (we have a 2mb link so its not our connection) and none of the top graphics appreared?

From what i did see its quite er, grey!
Could do with a bit of colour.

The colour scheme of the forums looks out of place with the rest of the site too.
Good luck

Dave, CooperChic: Thanks! :-)

Anacrusis: Next layout, I was thinking of adding a bit more colour. Perhaps making it light blue instead, but for now, if I do add any colors, it'll probably just be a tint of blue to the logo. I haven't tested the site with Opera; only with AOL, IE and Firefox. With the forums, I'm just using XMB (with that style) temporarily until I can finish the coding on mine. Unfortunately though, that might be another few months. :-\

Pixelputty: What don't you like about the navigation image? Any suggestions on how to make it look better? Also, for now it's mainly just a personal site for rants, reviews and articles. Not much to it yet unless I start to get some more writers and more content ideas*.

Pencer: Odd... it loads just fine on my computer (56k modem, and I'm referring to immediately after I empty the cache). I'm not sure why the header image didn't appear, but I'll look into it. As with above, I'll probably add some more colour next layout. And the forums (when I finish with them) will hopefully be a LOT better.

Y'know, I think I'll just go ahead and take the forums down for now. Hardly any members, and the majority of y'all don't seem to like them. :-p Thanks for the reviews; keep 'em coming!

* If anyone has some further ideas for content, I'd love to hear them!

the site title and idea seems good, site is very dull - not only colours bu the home page looks like an unimportant inner page. Nav could also do with some work

Nice site. My only suggestion is that your navigation down the side looks a little weak. I mean my first impression was this site ain't got a lot of content, because you've got a great big massive blank section with hardly nothing in it. My suggestion is to put Adsense in there.

Apart from that, the site looks good

I agree that the navigation down the side is a bit too simple, but I really like it. I also thing you could use to make it a bit wider, or at least make the banner have a repeating BG that matches and then make the site change width for res and browser size. That repeating background might be tough though...

this is also the perfect site to drop a style chooser in there and have people change the colors to their own liking

The layout is simple enough that there is nothing noticably wrong with it! I like your quotes at the top, by the way.

I really like your site. But the first think that got me when i looked at it was the logo. When you add bevel and emboss it makes it look unprofessional. You could add some more images, like images for buttons.
