Taking today as a case study, skimming over the records, I'd say about 80-85% of people clicked a second link or more. Most of the time they were the text link pages and forum threads near the top but the page icons were clicked too, estimating about 30% of second clicks. I had read about Mystery Meat Navigation, however in both vids on the site, they tend to be essential to the navigation, whereas mine aren't and there are plenty of other avenues to go down.
Either way, I've made another page which shows the page title below and seriously, it doesn't work with the character differences: http://www.lawsloop.com/index_again_edit.php
Obviously I'm open to other ways of showing the info but I can't really think of a better way to show it, hence Website Review and Suggestions (I've taken on most of the suggestions given in this thread). It just doesn't seem to be a major problem because people still wander the site with those apparently unforgivable atrocities on the homepage anyway.
I'm shocked the top half of the site works on your phone, let alone the bottom.
I doubt they started with a huge advertising budget but for the sake of argument, I'll just say I have a huge advertising budget, absolutely colossal. Unfortunately they won't give any cash to the site design department though. Its a shame - but oh well, back on topic!
What looks better, the separated boxes of http://www.lawsloop.com/index_again1.php or the gradient of http://www.lawsloop.com/index_again.php?
