Hey I run JokeMonkey.com. What do you think of it? Does it all work?

The color scheme is one that I would normally say that I don't like, but it's one of those that "grow" on me. So, it fits with a joke type site.

I like the navigation boxes on the side of your page, I will have to agree that the greys do contrast, but the orange and the blues work well together. Looks like you have alot of content on your site and you have manged it well.

Using orange is a good ideaa, but you need to blend better, at the moment it doesn`t, Think Bright! the header title in bevel is rubbish, Bevel is out now!!! use a comic font, with a nice font size, maybe in white and outlined, curious about the monkey, could I ask where you found him, I`m asking as I created the same one awhile ago.

The text area doesn't align properly with its border on my resolution--the main area (that contains the banner, as well as "Welcome to Joke Monkey" and similar boxes) does not stretch to the length that its top-right border image does, so the image appears off to the side.

You should also have similar bottom corner images to go on those content areas, since right now they just cut off abruptly at the bottom instead.

I think the colors are an original idea, and they don't look bad at all.

I would recommend changing the header to a comic font, as pixelputty said, and also removing the bevel.

I liked the site but, I hate popups and or redirects. With the spyware etc..getting bad as it is .. I know I'm not alone in closing everything as quickly as possible.

Yeh, Im not a big fan of the colors.

I, too, close popups as soon as they pop up. I hate sites with popups and unless the site is awesome, I wont go back to it. It is just another joke site, so personally, I wont return now because of the pop ups.

The site is awesome but the colors are too glazy. It will be better to use more soothing.

The color is too dark, expecially for a article site, your vistor will stay your site for long time in order to read or do something, and I hate popup screen as well, once I saw the popup windows, I just quickly close the browser and move on to the next site

Dont know about anyone else but when I clicked on it it loaded up fine except there was a large grey box in the top left hand corner obscuring lots of the web site. Apart from that the content is really good. I think the colour could be toned down a bit but I guess its all personal preference. Cheers!

i give it a 5 for a few reasons:

1. i am colorblind and those colors made it worse lol
2. slow loading in IE 6
3. popup ad

Yup I like this, I would make the tables 100% though I like to see the website stretched to fit with all resolutions
