I'd suggest maybe make the forum colors the same as your logo. Also, I'd ad something sports related to the logo as well (maybe a football, baseball, basketball, etc..) Other than that, it looks good.

yeah i must agree, the forum at the moment looks like a forum, not a sports forum. maybe add sport related images to the logo as suggested or adding icons to each board will help to change this.

Good look with your forum though.

I agree with above, many people grab a forum, activate it and add forums and threads, but don`t take into account of look, right now it`s the same as hundreds out there! good content and a **** good looking skin will help, either skin it to a sports feel or check out skins available and try them out, get one and make that alittle different too, right now your board is a brick in the wall and you need to paint that brick to make it stand out, good luck.

there are too many forums out there that look the same, make yours look more individual.

Good luck

It's been said, but the forum looks like many of the default forums that are used with the installation. You could customize the skin. Or you could have a news portal site that includes a forum. Using php-nuke, post-nuke, etc. you can include more modules (ie. polls, articles, etc) This may give people more of a reason to visit your site.

For starters though, your best bet may be to throw in some sports related graphics.

Good luck!

Agreed with some of the comments above. IMO, there's almost too many topics. Maybe focus more on a couple of the most popular (or your favorite) sports instead of listing so many. People get overwhelmed easily. Or maybe have a welcome page with links to individual forums to simplify it. You could also add some design elements to a main page to spruce it up a bit. You've got a good idea, just build on it and streamline .

Nothing much to rate or comment on there I think ...

It's just a fresh install of phpBB with forums added ....

Well one thing I really like to see on forum-only websites is an integrated index.php that isn't the forum index, its a homepage with news on the forums, forum links and the like... here's an example. http://www.vbulletin.org (all links on that site are links to threads, or polls. and info on things happening in the forums. just makes the whole thing seem far more interactive and professional)

I know thats not phpBB, but you get the idea, a page with information and links to the forum and all of your forum controls, but it holds other information as well... im rambling, but you get the idea. (I hope).
