Iam posting here for a while now every now and then and it's time for me to show you guys what i've been designing lately.

My portfolio page is up containing website design, corporate identity design and so on. It's not all my work yet and it's not completely finished as well, but iam in need of some professional opinions.

http://www.pixelerate.net

tell me what you think so far and if everything is working for you.

* everything WAS w3c valid untill i got complaints that the so called w3c valid flash code isn't properly working in a lot of browsers

Hi design

Nice work . Very professional looking.

Now the part you don't want to hear. I love flash too but a lot of people still have 56k connections . For a main page too much flash might make someone that is just looking for something to buy and in a hurry leave .

Just my 2 cents

Nice site! I checked it out with opera 754, everything displayed fine and all the links worked for me I'm on 56k right now and the load time wasn't too bad.

The bad news is on my end, I am now deeply in love with the plusmin model and I know she hasn't asked about me. Has she?

Great work,

Thanks a lot everyone for taking the tiem to review my site (& work so far online) really appreciated.

Precision > Thanks for the kind words
monkey > It seems to be working for me, however i'll keep an eye on it. Thanks for pointing it out.
thevirus > Thank you, the Flash is not quite finished yet and i had to drop a lot cause of size so thats a bummer for me.
OleTom > Your words have been crossing my mind for a week before i went online, cause i was thinking the exact same, i think iam going to setup a pre-loader for what it helps.
faze1 > Thanks! She did ask about a gay named 'face1' but i didn't know about the 'z' instead of 'c' so now she's gone with the guy from the A-Team..

The graphics are beatuiful. A bit of concern on the loading time since i was having to wait briefly on my 1.5MB connection.

The theme looks great, I mean the color and overal picture quality. I wouldn't use a flash template these days for 2 reason. Slow to load the page and not friendly to the search engine. Of course, just my 2 c.

Wow man…I’m not going to say that your site is great because it is against my rules. But I’m somehow impressed. Nice and clean design. Very good selection of colors, fonts and graphics. You should be proud of yourself!

Nick89 > Thank you for reviewing and your kind words, i agree the server can be slow sometimes. I think i'll add a preloader for the flash as well.
teacherma > Thank you for your nice words. Just a small part of the header is flash so searchengines won't have problems indexing the content and the layout.
sur60446 > Thanks a lot, really appreciated
ejumblesale > Thank you for your nice comments as well

My first impression was... I'm lost. Didn't quite understood what you offer, what's clickable what's not. You have many nice elements but they are overwhelming...

I would make your main page less busy. I would remove most of the text paragraphs and make them separate pages - let them go there if they are interested in your services.

Text items in the three nice looking squares should really be links not just words. These boxes look to busy with those pictures and additional titles on the bottom.

I would remove that menu on the right - you already have it on top.
In fact, your main logo/picture is the best part of your index page. The top color schema combined with a face is very attractive and most likely works well making your visitors stop on your site for a few seconds.

You got to motivate them to take the next step and actually look at your portfolio - so I would want to see a very uncluttered straight forward navigation to the four services that you offer...

Hiya there, I actually saw this site recently, and thought it was lovely. Love the "cleaness" of it all, (white/pale colours)...It loaded fast for me, and showed your talents well. Good job!

Thanks all again for your kind word words and / or suggestions. Iam taking everything into consideration. Do you guys think it's a little too colorfull and 'flashy' for businesses? My mailbox got overwhelmed with potential projects, but still iam in doubt of creating a more business kind of style, what do you think? Will this do or not?

I like it. Only one suggestion. Try to make you home page smaller so the customer will not need to scroll down.

Regards
