  • Good Stuff
  • Good buttons on top
  • Buttons on side aren't bad
  • Colors are good
  • Different layout is refreshing

    Bad Stuff
  • Needs content to make a better judgement
  • Title should be a nice banner or some fancy text
  • Counter is ugly and isn't really necessary

I must agree that, for it to be a personal site, and such a young webmaster, it is very good. I commend you on your work.

I would suggest moving the right side navigation to the bottom (maybe even making it smaller).

I know everyone's always interested in seeing that counter. I suggest just having one on the first page and none anywhere else. You can get counters that will tell you how many people have visited the rest of the site.

I gotta' go back and read those two stories. I started reading and wanted to get back here to give you my IMO's.

Keep up the good work. I think we can expect a lot of good things from you in the future!

Personally, I dont see teh point in buying a domain name to host a profile, unless your getting this for free.

Your site looks nice though.

Colors- Slick, i really like the colors to it, gives it a cool look

Background- outstanding

Navigation - really i dont see why you need one at the top and one at the side, thats just a waste, but the one at the top looks really cool with the crosshairs, and the side one looks professional. So id say great.
It would be great though if you added one at the bottom too

Logo- you need one, that scotts page text isnt a logo.

Overall id say: 4
I just like the crosshair menu, your site has no purpose (besides your profile) and the how it is layed out looks amateurish, id say you start using some tables, maybe make it look more professional. Then again, do this only if you are planning to get lots of hits and to make money off the site.

when I was 13 I would be lucky if I Made a site like that. You got potential dude. If you really get into it, in no less than a year you will be making top dog sites. Good job

take out where it says "i have a family of four" it makes it seem like you are a father in a family or something. Like gettocars i dont see the point in spending that money for a profile site? why not make a site that is ona different subject? good luck

I don't see anything wrong in having a domain just for a personal page. However, I don't get why it's scottbat.com instead of scottfielder.com.

I will take out the part "I have a family of four", you're right, Mo Monkey, it does make it sound like i'm a father. About the domain name: when I first published the site, I was 10 and I was really into bats, and my mom called me Scottbat. The name just stuck. I have know idea why she called me that.

its a great domain name IMO but the site just has no purpose, I mean, if the site pays for itself, then id keep it. Maybe if you generate like 10$ monthly to just keep teh site up. If not then you are lossing money just to keep an online profile.

The good part about this is that you can host an online portfolio now, and keep your resume, cover letter and stuff like that.
yet your only 13

still worth it though, maybe you can make a link saying HIRE ME for webdesigner. worth a try

Hey Scott, you are not going to be 13 years old even in 2004 right?
So I think you should put your date of birth there, unless you plan to update that line every year.
