Another Social Network

my very first website is a social network site. I know there are a million sites out there but i only know of a few big ones

myspace - to cluttered but i do see that they are cleaning that up a bit
facebook - nice but not to much customization
digg - i am on digg everyday but i don't get that personal feeling
reddit - same as digg
friendster - good.. i guess

www.klamour.com is intended to be a mixture of news sites and social networking sites

i created this site with 2 other friends and believe me this is our very first site and we have been working on it for over 1 year now.

im looking for any feedback

some thing missing! a nice logo n dont u think that its so simple no colour at all n ur font is quite big or some problem in my browser..?

You know the design is actually excellent. The sites actual purpose however is not all that clear tbh.

Very strong design, clean. If the social networking doesn't work out you could easily modiy it to something else given the way you set it up.

I like the design, but I would change the flow.
I don't like having to scroll all the way down view the populars.

I like it also. Clean. Not what I expected. But I do have one gripe. I guess I don't like the background pictures on the interior pages. It doesn't seem right to me. It's distracting. What about a background with your colors loosely swirled together. Something to tie in all your colors. The robot kind of picture just doesn't fit.

I noticed no one commented on it so I feel maybe it's just me.
