Stuck for ideas with a layout...

I dunno what to do with the background, and there's the giant empty space that needs filling. Should I center the logo? Or perhaps fill in the spot with an ad? Any ideas would be awesome.

I like it, logo is cool, keep the logo where it is. May make it easier to complete if you add some more content.

Ok, I took a look at your theme of wordpress

... Really it looks good ... clean is good ...

Your logo is very nice ... now what you need more is I think more content but as it is a blog I believe that will come with the time ... and I think you should make more pages ... or if you would alling to the right the buttons in the red bar would look better ...maybe a contact page is really needed

In the right sidebar ... you can activate categories, rss, login and that would fill in the space ... and until you find something to put on the left side I think you can simply deactivate it ... as for the ads ... you can put some but until then I think you should take out the too ads with your same logo

) ...

Background ? ... I don`t think you need any background ... black goes very well with red and white ... but in the banner ... on the right side of the banner you might want to put something ... maybe some faded images related to your activity ... you know what I mean ? ... something that would suggest what you will be talking about there ... but something faded and in shades of grey maybe ...
