Its not bad given the fact its the first website you have ever done. I do not like the background image and how when you scroll down it makes my screen blink - if that made sense, haha. Best of luck to you.

The design of the website isn't too bad, but the code does not validate also you have loads of blank alt tags within code. With the odd tweaking here and there it can be a really good site.
