Hello,

This is my 6th drupal site. I've been using the cms for about 10 months. During that time I've been getting better clients, and recently have had the opportunity to work with an Ethiopian Embassy.

Take a look and give me some feedback, the site will be translated into two other languages. There will be more content soon, it has to be approved by the government, but I want the site to have some search engine visibility, so I've put it online.
Check out the Embassy

First Impression

"The webpage looks like it's...bleeding!"

Design

Medic! The header looks like it's bleeding. So does the footer. Good god man, butchery of internet graphics! Site-acide I say! (Other than that, it's pretty clean and everything looks cool. The sub-navigation links could be a shade darker and using "read more" for a link anchor is bad for SEO) The header looks a little out of place with the rest of the colors. I like the incorporation of the flag, but it kind of dominates as the color scheme, so remember your limits.

Content

The about page is empty. *cries* Everything looks correct and professional, as an embassy's site should. Nice job.

Would I Use It?

I'm not going to ethiopia, but if I were, sure.

Overall

Nice job. Maybe fix up the header and oh yeah, get the poor layout some band-aids. Use better anchors like "read more about ethiopia."

LOL Get a medic..Hmmm. Maybe slightly bloody at worst, but not too atrocious, I hope.

Well the ambassador got a look at the site and loved it so I doubt I will be changing the graphics. First negative feedback concerning that.

As far as "read more" hurting SEO, that's a risk I'll have to take ;P and join thousands of other sites that utilize that kind of thing. Given the nature of the site and the slightly esoteric audience SEO shouldn't be to much of a problem.

We will see in a couple of months.

Also, since the site is dynamic, the front page will be changing frequently with updates etc.

The about page is empty because the content must all be approved...oh the pains, but should be all there by next week. The people at the Embassy will be taking care of the content now.

Thanks for the review.

well, the design of your site looks good... the use of African flag colors as a background seems to be a nice idea. though, i don't seem get it why a red mark on the header... i've check some links and still no content on it... but it's ok since the site is new...
overall, great site!
