Well you say there are lots of interesting topics, but I don't see any at all!

Anywho, for a start you have too many forums. New message boards should start out with a maximum of 5 forums. This way, the board will never look too empty. You should only really consider adding more as it grows.

The skin looks boring and unoriginal. For a forum to be a discuss these days they need to be innovative and have some very original idea or content. Your domain doesn't even seem to match the purpose of the site?

You need a really catchy logo as well.

first thing i notice... the "0" in each thread... like what this ^ guy said... add new topics as your forum grows.
i do you need to place "allcoolforum.com" in the description if it's in your logo?
last thing, hire someone you could post in each thread to have life in your thread.

Agree with what has been said.

For a new forum I would advise less forums, otherwise activity looks even less. As soon as I see a forum with plenty of '0's' I leave.

+1

Right on. Only add forums as the community evolves and there are enough threads on a given topic to warrant one. You can then go through all the discussions and move the appropriate ones to the new forum, making it look relatively active instantly.
