I will give you my honest opinion being an internet marketer... I would not use your site to get idea's about search engine optimization and search engine placement etc etc... Honestly why i say this is because the site just dosent look very professional so yes you might have alot of information on it (wheather its all right or wrong) but information coming from an un professional website just does not look trust worthy. Dont meant to burst a bubble of anysorts just thought i would give my honest 2 cents.

As a designer, I find the overall look of the site to be appealing and well thought out. I personally like it's simplicity.

That being said.....
I am deterred from your site because you have overwhelmed me with google ads on your homepage. I would lose the ad block at the very top, or at least make it smaller. Also, you have links in your navigation that go to completely different websites. Even if they are your "sister" sites, a user is not going to click on a link in your main navigation and expect to be taken to a different site, so now they are distracted from what they were originally looking for and will probably not even read the page/site they are presented with.

I'm not sure why he doesn't think the site looks professional, but coming from a designers point of view (me), I love the color scheme and layout. not to mention the little character in the logo, lol. the amount of knowledge there is amazing, I've already bookmarked the site

. don't worry about the design, it is perfect. just keep the content coming. very nice!

Thanks for the possitive feedback tronicscribe... I have taken all your suggestions and improved the site as much as i could.

I'm also preparing some step by step tutorials with videos that will be available soon.

I'm read your site using 14" screen and to be honest please change the fonts to the suitable size and the background color is to blind for me. Black and light orange is not match together.
