I like styles 2 and 3 better (3 is my favorite) than the first one that loads by default. I'm not sure what the image at the top of design 1 is trying to communicate. I know what the circle with the line through it means, but I'm not following how the image is connected with web design.

Hey,

I like No 2. It made me laugh which means that it is memorable. I got the point of 1 but didn't think it sold the concept. 3 Just bored me.

You will need to imporve you copy to aquire clients.

The 'Web Design' button in your menu for my money should read 'Our Satisfied Clients' of somthing to that effect, then you should have a seperate button selling your web design service.

Hope I've Helped

One is too plain. It made me look at the source and the

and

 made me wonder.

I think 3 is by far the best; I was quite horrified when I first saw number 1 to be honest! lol.
Your portfolio is also quite impressive, especially the Rakeland website

1 might be too dull.
2 is hilarious.
3 has class.

Pick your market, then pick the design!

I find 3 a little to boaring with too much white space before reaching your copy.
I still that a site that makes you laugh is memorable, where as one with a fancy looking silver blutterfly may be pretty, but you will forget it as soon as you press the back button.

Cheers

I feel the comic element always works....
So a more enhanced version of 2 would be great...
good job...
1 is a strict no-no....

If you want to make sales then your main page should be some of your best work you have ever done. Making someone laugh is not going to make someone purchase. You want to have a memorable homepage to make them know they are going to be getting a great page if they buy your service.

I think style #2 looks the best among other styles. Though it really needs more improvements on its design as well as its layout. And its logo seems to be unrelated with your niche.

I think you must focus more in picking the right template and colour combination, you need to do some adjustments in your main page....but still the content is interesting and relevant!

Honestly I don't like number one at all. The sign on it is like 'don't go any further'. I like the third design most. It is simple and clean. I think it will work for you best.

Style one is very basic while still professional (no errors, done very nice) . I wouldn't use one at all though as it doesn't make you look skilled. Two is so so but I think the orange doesn't complement the other colors. Now three, makes you look like a designer I would like to hire. The soft artsy graphics at the top give show your artistic ability, the hanging paper things show good technical ability usign your graphics program, and the simple bullets and slight color chang on hover of the links shows that you know to not over-do it. That is pretty much how I rate any site I am on in my head without really think about it. I like that third design a lot.

I like the #3. But try to design for 1024/768 pixels not 800/600 (which is old now).

Style 1 - Does not look like you have any clue what you are doing, can you say frontpage 10 years ago. Plus I don't get it.

Style 2 - Too much empty space up top for me, personally I don't get the reference here. That being said, I think this one is closest to what the current trend is right now for other design firms.

Style 3 - Too much empty space again. A little plain and does implement current trends, but toward a different type of audience.

As for the comment above, design for 1024/768. Please do. What I find to be funny about your site, is that it appears to be optimized for an 800 x 600 resolution, yet at that resolution, you don't see any of the sites content without scrolling. Just all header.

Right navigation doesn't do it for me either... that's just a personal preference. But I do find that clients will look for the navigation at the left, then top, then right. Why not make it easy for them?

Short answer. No, this design does not work.

I liked design 3 the most... Not sure what the message you are trying to send across is.

Maybe you can improve the use of fonts for titles and navigational items. Overall is good
