Can you please take a look at first page of my website.
My design skills arent great, I classify myself more of a developer.

Any comments greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Pat

IMHO it looks like someone has done a word document or something, sorry to sound negative but you may be better getting someone else to do the design - dont know what to suggest other then that, or learn to use photoshop.

If your stuck for ideas and don't want to have anyone else do it for you, may I suggest looking at other sites offering similar services to yourself to get some idea of what clients would be expecting - if your selling web design / development then I would think your site needs to look very professional whichat the moment it doesn't.

Hope this helps.

Hey man,

It's a really nice design. The only thing I would say is that the header needs to be closer to the content. Other then that great graphics and color scheme.

I agree that the design does not look very professional. You may want to increase the padding on your boxes that contain content.

More than the design, though, is that the page took about a minute and a half to load on my T5 school connection. Quite frankly, that is a ridiculous amount of time.

Hey pat,

The websites design overall is quite impressive. Its simple straight forward and to the point. The only thing i would suggest would be to place the header closer to the content and possibly bold the text or change the color to just be a shade darker. Other then that great job.

Best Regards,
