I've been working on my site for about six months now. It's hosted at SBI and would like some opinions from non-sbi folks. Our current goal is not so much to provide any income but to establish a site that is inviting to motorcyclists to participate in. I am especialy interested in getting thoughts about the "Your Bike Page" as that is our main point for user interaction. This is also my first CSS based site and would like to get some input in this area as well.

Thanks in advance for your help.

It is a very clean site overall, but I feel there may be a little too much content per page though. Some of us have short attention spans, and there are a lot of paragraphs on some of those pages. Maybe break it up some over a couple pages?

There are also a couple suggestions for you-
1) Openly support Kyle Petty's Ride Across America. It's a great charity, and fits perfectly with what you are doing- www.kylepettycharityride.com

2)Maybe have a weekly or monthly article spotlighting a particular Road Trip. Say you do a story on Route 66, you would include some picture highlights as well as important information like where the Open gas stations are, food and lodging that are cyclist friendly, and what roads may be bad or closed.

All in all, you did a great job. Makes me wish I had a bike again

Hey mdegeiso,

There aren't many images and the header image is kinda dull. Maybe you could make the header size a bit bigger and add another image. Also, I would suggest that the sites title is written normally and not wrapped around the wheel, and maybe with a better font.

As for the buttons on the left, maybe you could replace them with some normal links with a little icon to the side.

Other then that, great site and good luck

Perhaps a bit dry and wordy for your fellow riders (only they are qualified to speak to that issue) but, I enjoyed this clean and quiet site. It re-ignited my own love of touring which was accomplished by every means except from a bike. The information and pictures were great for a reviewer such as myself; touring the world through the lives of others. As a proof-reader and editor I did catch two typos: Pulling Trailers > 1st paragraph, last sentence, (missing i) for in; About Us > 2nd to last paragraph > last sentence > replace , with ; > addicted to the (all) - perhaps thrill? It is a great centralizer site yet could benefit from larger body text font wrapped around more pictures for dramatic affect. Good touring to you!

It is a unique experience... like the time I rode my bike down to the Florida Keys. I made it about halfway into the Keys intent on Key West. That's when my electrical system decided it didn't want to go, half way across the 7 mile bridge at Sunset. I got it to fire up for some short hops and pushed it most of the way to Homestead where there was a Kawi dealer. I ended up getting there around 3AM. As I settled in for a short nap until they opened, I discovered they were located on the outskirts of Crack Town.

Good times
