I am trying to update this site some and I'm not familair with the latest in web design. I do happen to be a computer professional but not a web specialist at all. I do a little dreamweaver and photoshop so with a little direction, I think I could do a decent job. I have changed the site around some over the last few months and updated the logos and photos. I'd like to bring it into this century though as it still looks like 1998. I was thinking either frames or CSS but I've never done either of those and I think frames may be out of style now too? I'd also like to speed it up if possible. It seems that it loads very slow. I'm not sure if thats my design or my hosts issue? The content probably won't change much from what is there now. I'd also like to improve search rankings.

Thanks
Ballzo

I'd start out by taking all the main headings where you have to scroll down the page and put them in your navigation on the left. You want to have a page for each heading such as fire, water, construction, environment services and go into all your subheadings with a sentance or two on each. The more content you have, the more there is for search engines to index.

A business like yours should include contact info, like your phone number and location, on every page.

You also probably want to update your logo and at least get rid of the logo watermark in the background of the content are. It's a bit distracting, especially when viewing the blue text.

Yeah, break the pages down to separate headings. Remove the logo in the background.

Spread the site content a bit wider rather than dragging it all down the page.
