Please review the content, design, uniqueness, quality, etc..

We are fairly new, but we are receiving a more than average amount of uniques a day. We have had a good community response, since we are a fairly unique website. I, myself havent seen a site of this nature to this date.

What is the purpose of this site?
The purpose of this site is to help teams/players find scrims. A scrim is a shortened word for scrimmage. When related to gaming, it refers to when two teams from the same game compete against each other. Also known, as a "clan match".

As an ex-Cal-m Counter Strike player, the first thing I'd look for when I arrive at that site is something that tells me "click here for Counter Strike scrims". I don't see it. The site loaded extremely slow for me. Also, how do you plan to compete with IRC channels like #findscrim (if it still exists, haven't played in a while)? Are you only doing team scrims or will you be doing pickup games too? Will the scrims be segmented by player level? How will a clan/team verify their level? A CPL team doesn't want to scrim a cal-o team.

All questions I'd want answered as well.

But visually the site is stunning and it looks like you've left room in the design to handle all those features. Great domain too.

1. The site hasnt expanded to PC games or counter strike yet.
2. Site loads instantly for me.
3. This site ranges, you can do team scrims or indvidual scrims.
4. This site has a ranking system, in which when posting a scrim you will get to put in what skill level (1-4) you think your team is.
5. Verifying skill level, will be word of mouth and what they put down. Most teams try to stay truthful, because it will be hard for a "true novice" team to play/beat a "true expert" team.

Speaking from experience, though things may have changed, I wouldn't put too much faith in that system. My cal-m team always wanted to scrim cal-i teams and cal-im teams always wanted to scrim cal-m teams etc etc etc. You don't get better by playing teams that are below you or on the same level. Just my $0.02, good luck with the site.

this site is made for universal gamers. gaming levels are supposed to be general levels. Because if I would up out "Cal-i" or whatever, another gamer on another website wouldnt know what that means, so the gaming levels are general so all gamers can understand and choose.

I cant give an opinion on the unique/ quality or content factors.

I did not find the menu on the very top right to be very appealing with the way it drops down and also it does not match into the rest of the image logo, i think you need to put star background beind that menu, or stretch the edge of the image in the logo over to the menu.. I'm not sure waht I'm trying to SAY!!! err how to say it.

your site loaded quickly for me. I like that you are going to be able to squeeze much content into that one page

Looks good, it just lacks content. It has a lot of potential none the less. The main image is a majority of Gears of Wars, you may want to expand that to serve the other interest in games.

Why do you have a drop down menu for chat when the only thing in the menu is chat?

Other than that, I could find nothing else wrong with the site. Nice design, easy to navigate, good job

The drop down for Chat sends you to "Chat" or the Forums.

the Gears of War image you see is part of the rotator. It has a total of 3 images that are being rotated every 2-3 seconds.
