My blog -- design too simple?

Basically the only question I have for you guys is -- Is the design too simple? Its simply the default WP theme with a custom header?

I'm also wondering if you guys have any suggestions for WP mods/add-ons to add to the site, if any?

Too simple isn't the problem. It's too much like the default theme.

Look around for some pre-made Wordpress themes. Although they aren't original, it's a bit more interesting.

In my opinion it's not that bad. Maybe change the background color on the whole blog.

You think I should just edit the css file and not worry about finding another theme?

I say go ahead and find another theme. Ever consider paying for a custom one?

Well, I used to have a custom one, but recently I've invested too much money in white hat projects, and well.... would like to spend some more dough on *other* projects.

If you couldn't spend another dime, and this was your blog, what would you do lol.

I would look for a different free theme. The Wordpress site has a section devoted to it.

ok i think one point people seem to be missing is sometimes simple works best, as long as the info you give is A+++ quality

the blue colors dont work for me and i think the tabs are too rounded, but its clean and clean is good in my book...my 2 cents

Simple is always good! I should know..lol I have a site that when it was simple it was getting on average about 80,000 unique a day with about 1.5mil pageviews and now that the site has grown and I have more competition I had to change the layout (which I shouldn't have done) I'm getting now about 40,000 unique a day..

So simple is good!! Users don't like confusion...
