Heey guys

www.top-download.net has just gone live. And before I start promoting my site
I would like every aspect of it to be reviewed.
This is my main page http://www.top-download.net

Both pages are build for 1024 and up and not entirely firefox compatible.. Though i tried.
I'm open to all forms of critique and advice.

Hopefully you will like it.. or come with some good critique

ah i dotn like it.. i ahve to scroll to get to any links, the first thign i see are flashign banner ads, which ussually when that happens i get an alt-f4 flinch in my fingers.. the text yer i knwo ur client wnats it but its really huge.. the overall design seems like a list of links, on a image background, no real insipring design there

on the half-life2 thing the picture overlaps some text and some other text overlaps a banner. i like the way it is organized though, i would suggest a more visually appealing template also.

Hi lajkonik86, your site looks OK but a few improvements could be made.
Firstly the navigation on the right: this is not very appealing because people with a lower resolution will have to scroll to the right befor they find it, not user friendly. My suggestion would be to try to put it either on the left-hand-side or at the top as this is mostly standard and most user-friendly.
Secondly, maybe try to change the font-type as it seems a little plain.
Thirdly, the banner is a little pixelated which doesn´t make a very good impression.

The site doesn't connect to me as a web surfer. There doesn't seem to be any solid content on the first page which could have them leaving sooner than they should be. The design is rather bland and could use a better presentation. For instance, the banner gives me the impression that the site was not worked on much at all (thought it may) but because it doesn't look as professional as other sites out there, I have no choice but to come to this conclusion. First impressions mean everything and I think you have a bit more work to do to give web surfers a good one.

Come on man , what' with that layout ? better use a CMS or something ... and i dont wanna get into the color scheme... too too too much to tell...

This site looks like a design made by a newbie. I strongly suggest you consider the comments made by others. Or better yet, make a new design. THe color combinations, site layout, navigation, content and etc really suck. no offend, but i think you must really consider.

About the webdesign - most was already said. Do you really want users to read a small white text again black background, before they realise that this is a game download site and not e.g. soft download? There should be a large top text saying : Download dosens of the coolest games there. Free! Daily updated... Or something like this. And the search google box is completely useless.
By the way I have 800x600 monitor and would not find your navigation without reading previous posts first.

In short: The webdesign is bad. The logo is bad. Start from the scratch.
