Please critique

Please let me know how I can make this site look it's best. I really want it to "pop", and have a professional touch. I created the flash image at the top from an existing logo. It has a Div-based layout, which I understand is "where it's at" these days. I don't know if I like the color used in the navigation column, nor am I crazy about the rollover effect for the links.

BTW, the links don't go anywhere yet. I want to nail down my design, before I create a whole bunch of pages.

I like design but if you would change a font size would be perfect.

Basically I like what I am seeing here.
The logo is really in keeping with your product/service, just a small point though, I would prefer a small amount of white space in front of BLUE and RHYTHM.
IMO your choice of colours and rollover fit very well with the rest of your design.

Thanks for the suggestions. I will be purchasing a replacement sound for the one I created (it should be a nice deep drum bass BOOOOOOMMMM.......).
The links are not yet enabled, as I mentioned in my first post =))

I think you still have to change font size for smaller plus try to make Verdana font. Text on the bottom too

Don't like the look of it.

Add a border or some kind of effect around the main outside div.
Get rid of the blue border lines.
Mode the 'blue rythm' text away from the edge of the div it is in.

Other than its great!

Does anybody know where I can buy (or create, or find) a nice deep BOOMMMMM sound? This is an audio video installation service, and despite my hatred of sounds on a website, I'll make a tiny exception for this one.

I think you are off to a good start, have to agree suttle font changes will make it stand out just a little better.

The image under the navigation menu looks out of place for some reason. Some sort of seperator above the image or title above a set of images there might work better.

I like your color choices. It has a "smooth" feel to it.

I absolutely hate sounds in websites myself. if a website plays a sound without my asking it to, I close it. It doesn't matter how great or useful the site is, I close it. If I want my computer to make a noise, I tell it to.

The logo at the top seems to tall. It currently comprises the entire top third of the page, and that seems like far to much for me. It looks great, but it's awfully large.

Certainly a great start though. I agree with some of the above that perhaps you could try out some other fonts, but it's not a deal breaker for me personally.
