A member of another forum I belong to is referring people to this website, and naturally, I was a tad suspicious, my first reaction to it was that this is Agloco (a pyramid referral scheme) all over again.
He's claiming it gives you "Unlimited Quality backlinks" (total BS, IMO):

Qassia is fantastic because you get credit for sharing your intelligence. The more credit you earn, the better your websites will rank. And you get a backlink to your website for every intel you add - only Qassia gives you **unlimited** quality backlinks.
I don't need design or usability reviews here, but feedback on the network itself, and how its operations are really working, etc.
EDIT:It looks like the thread has been deleted over there, so it looks like I was right . Thanks anyway
Well, maybe the site has changed since you posted this, but I'm kind of confused how this even looks like a pyramid scheme. They do give you a backlink for every article you write. If you are one of those people who are really concerned with getting backlinks regardless of where they come from, then this seems like it would be a good site. Most likely though, these backlinks will not generate you any traffic. I posted a few articles and tried some stuff out, and the people there are not there to read what you write, so it isn't really very useful.
Well, as I said I tried it and none of my backlinks are showing up in yahoo. I gonna try adding my page to my signature to see if that will help it get indexed. I'm thinking the verdict on this might actually be completely useless instead of somewhat useless, lol.
I've found the majority of sites like this to be a scam in one way or another. The end goal may be nobel but remember that the owner is profiting in some way. I view it like a casino, you may win out big, but odds are against you.
Well, I had stopped doing anything with it, as I wasn't getting any backlinks, but now they have started to show up. So I guess if you just want backlinks it will work, but I haven't gotten any traffic from it.
