I have built a free classifieds site where users can post adverts without registration or email verification. Please let me know what you think of the general ease of use, theme and do you think it will do well?

Thank you

Simon.

Not at all! I have already banned some ip addresses for constant posting. I also know how important it is to get the site looking busy, even if it is full of affiliate postings and website links, at least it wont have zeros next to the item counts! The hardest part, I think you will all agree, is launching a website without any budget. How do you get the ball rolling without destroying your new venture? I am still trying to find out and always experimenting on new ways. If I knew the answer, I wouldn't be posting in a forum, I'd be sat in a jacuzzi, drinking champagne and eating lobster!

I do know, however, that it has been done, someone does know and money has been made. Ok, the competition is higher now because everyone has seen these successful ventures and the rewards gained, so therefore, lots of ordinary people are trying to do the same. There is a way and once I have found it, made my living, I will gladly share the info.

Cheers

Simon.

Quite simple, but the design could certainly be improved upon, specially that left menu.

There are many other sites too that is similar to this one. But as what I've observed, this Site is on of the best, I could say. Simple yet meaningful. Unlike other sites that are fully surrounded by Advertisements, links and other stuffs. This helps for new webmasters who want to promote their Site through this. Great Job!

it's nice.

Much content but at the same time quite good and organized to view.

The colors are a bit creepy, especially the header graphic and the used font for the header ... you'd better change this to something sans-serif

Thank you all for the advise. I will be working on a new header as it does look a bit creepy!

I like the idea and the ease of use. However, the design could be a little better.
You're on a good path
Best of Luck

Looks nice - the light green is easy on the eyes. I also like your graphics.

The site was quite easy for me to navigate. I personally think your site will do quite well for what it provides.

I don't like having to select the category before posting... especially multiple clicks through sub-categories.

Can you not suggest categories?
