Hey, I created a fansite and a forum for my favourite rapper, Chamillionaire. I have designed most of it now and I'm just looking for comments on it and some suggestions on how to improve it, so If you have any, please do post below and let me know.

Well done. I am not a fan of rap music. But looking at the overall content of the website, wow. Showing detailed information of the website really brings out the work done to make this website. This fan site took time and money to make and the work shows. Good job.

I like your forum a lot. The colors are easy on my eyes and even though I am not a big fan of PhpBB, I still think it looks like a very professional dressed-up forum. On a side note, on the logo, the guy's teeth freaks me out LOL

About your fansite: It's too green. It's good that you use a color scheme and not just fill your site with different colors, but using just a single color and different shades of it makes sites look dull, like I'm afraid yours does. You can fix it by selecting another color and using it somewhere, a color scheme of two main colors is usually the best way to go.

I don't quite like the background image. Diagonal lines are just so last season if you ask me.

It's a bit difficult to see which texts are links and which are not because you don't use underlined links or have a special color for all links.


About your forum: The header image is great! It's a bit funny how you use the exactly same photo of the guy's face twice in the same picture but that's not a big deal.

I find the mouse over effect of the different forum categories a bit strange, could be just me.

Well, if I'd be doing a rap artist's website I'd be thinking about using dollar green, some header image with gold (and bling) and then using some green and yellow (matching the gold shade of the header image) as the main color scheme.

But I don't know, that could be too much of a cliche.

I'd change the links because now you don't know simply by looking your site which texts are links and which are not. You use green for the links but also the "welcome" and "latest news" is green and they are not clickable.

And it even gets more confusing when you use a different link color in the main menu links on left, and these links are not underlined either.

It would always be best to use underlined text for links.

Is it just me or is the right side out of sync ? I'm using I.E 6 by the way. Also redo the rounded edges, second time I'm pointing that out today. Its easier to do it using CSS you know.

I don't know what you mean with the right hand side

And is it possible you could show me a screenshot of it in IE6 whats out of place

Because ive tried downloading IE6, but i just cant download it anywere
