Is it a website with general information about DSLR cameraes? Or will you be adding reviews and news to the website as well?

All of the above.
My direction is to provide information and guidance for new photography buffs. Not that I have all of the answers but as a newbie myself. When I find answers to my questions, I will post comments about it on this site.

OK.. I don't like the typical "blog" look, but the layout has potential.

You have a post - the only one - on the front page about getting a Digital Rebel - Canon - for Christmas, but your header has a Nikon D300. There's something of a holy war going on between the two companies, has been for several decades ... that might confuse some of your readers looking for info.

If your blog is about digital single lens reflex cameras and not digital cameras in general - which your viewfinder post kind of hinted at - you might want to consider covering topics on the subject. Things like depth of field, lenses in general, full-time manual focus override... Your first page of auctions for Canon accessories is a lot of power adapters, but no cable releases, tripods, or glass.

The ad to content ratio isn't that user friendly. You can monetize your site, but for that to work well, you need to give your users reason to stick around. People who come to a site about digital SLRs are more likely than most to click an add or place a bid for one, but you'll benefit from giving people more reason to come and stay. And try to vary the skill levels you're targeting.

I admire your audacity in including Google Advertising in the middle of your page. I think I would stay away from that until you have a reliable stream of readers, like at least several hundred hits a day. It just looks so "I want to make a profit"-ish, while you should probably be concentrating on other things, like adding original content. I like your approach to using the eBay API to sell stuff, but that too is something I can only hope will work for you.

Now don't get me wrong I rejoice in you getting a Rebel for Christmas (as they are so gosh darn expensive) but I certainly hope it wasn't the reason behind why you started this site, because people don't exactly like reading about someone else's new gadget unless they are somehow personally related.

Things like these:
"Man this is cool but is a lot different than the normal digicam cameras."
Say to me: "I have no idea what I'm writing about"

Now that the design is pretty nice and you've got a good header image and all, why not consider adding reviews? Tutorials? It'll no doubt be a learning experience for you, given that the Rebel is your newest gadget.

Hi, since it's Digital Cam, it should have more nice shot instead of Camera Ads
