Hi all, My website works well and brings me work almost every day. Google must like it because it is on the first page for almost every search keyword that I think a searcher would use.

However I think the website looks amateur and I would welcome any assistance to give it a more "pro look". Thanks in advance.

I am also in the UK, used to live in Wales.

If it was built to its potential it would be good. If you'd like me to design it up for you I can do it for a small price, just PM me.

For starters:

Don't use the url as the header. Use a name. I presume it is Roythe Builder. Make it into a graphical logo.

Put Roythe Builder as the title and have only that as the title. Not that big long string you have in the title bar.

Don't use all caps.

Don't bold most of the page. It makes it unreadable

Thanks jodder,
I have changed the title like you suggested.
I have also changed the head to Roy the builder. I will have to read up on how to make it a graphic though
I will de bold it when i get more time. thanks for the tips.
Just one thing though, I thought that putting key words in the title helped me rank higher with "lord Google" was I wrong?
regards, Royboywales

I'm using a 1440x900 resolution, with Firefox. The header image seems to be a bit off.

Hold on, I am going to retract my current statement, and let me look at this a bit further.

Also, I'd recommend moving your Analytics Script to the bottom, right above the "</html>" tag.

HTML Code:
<script src="http://www.google-analytics.com/urchin.js" type="text/javascript">
</script>
<script type="text/javascript">
_uacct = "UA-1652677-1";
urchinTracker();

</script>

I like the site...but you need to work on the top and bottom areas, as said before. It's a good start.

I think the corners of your header and footer sections need to be reworked !! the rounded corners don't look so good at least with my latest firefox browser
