I have thought about improving my website's design for a long time now, I feel something is missing. I want to have pretty much the same layout and design as now. Can you help me with that little extra...?

Personally, I think you've gone too far. It's too arty and busy for my liking.

If you're going to add something though, add a solid background color to either side of the layout (like maybe a green or a blue.)

You are 16? Or does that need to updated?? I love the art and have come to expect arty sites to have a lot going on such as yours. You have no particular colour scheme which could be useful. Blog & Calendar are the same colours while all the others are different i would consider making them all different or all the same. You have Blog spelled two different ways, was this on purpose?? Blog vs Blogg?

Could be a little more organized. It may work to have 'search', 'feed it', & 'Blog' on the left and leave 'links' and 'calendar' on the right or vise verse. That may help with the alignment but you'd really have to play with it to see what works for you.

Creative work.

I like your art and love the signature on the header. You are obviously very talented. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for those two kind comments. I appreciate it. I was thinking now that I saw your post if I perhaps should have a more distinct color scheme and if that would please Adam too. It would make the site a little less chaotic and pleasant to look on.

Thanks for pointing out the spelling mistake on Blog to me. It's spelled blogg in Swedish. I guess I was tired when I wrote it.

I like the layout...but it is a little busy. With broadband it loaded in about 20 seconds. Studies have shown that if a page doesn't load in 14 seconds, then the person will navigate away.

Very nice design. But you should check how site look in multiple browsers. For example you need to fix few things in FireFox. Your rectangle is going over the footer, and you have a bottom scroll, but other then that , very nice site.
Keep up the good work!

Cheer,
Ivan

My eyes keep getting pulled away from the content and over to the right to the dark brown boxes....
