Here are my thoughts:

Professional: Yes, very.

Easy: Seems the same as any other forums, so yes.

Organized: The categories seem a little broad which is fine until you get more traffic. When you are getting lots of posts everyday I would suggest many more categories.

Other thoughts: I think the text on the banner should stand out more from the rest of the banner. I prefer a brighter look to websites, but that may also make it look at little less professional, so... I don't know.

The way I see it, Im trying to keep the categories very broad so I dont make the mistake of having to many, I think that only makes the forum look intimidating to new users, and besides whos going to fill all those up.

Thanks for your reply.

I think it looks very professional. Nicely aligned. Your topics are fine, clear and to the point. Broad is not a bad thing if you can maintain it well. I think that it does serve as a less intimidating environment, not complicated and easy to search.

I also think the text on your banner is great, contrary to a prior thought. It perfectly flows with the colour scheme of your layout and the use of a nice drop shadow is always good to make the text you want stand out. I think the graphic work is really great.

8.0 Excellent website - all expectations met.

I think it looks very professional. Your header is pretty good, and color scheme is not aggressive..All in all pretty well balanced look of the site.
I like it.

Alright, I just added a few more subforums, as well as putting meta descr and title in the header.

Keep those comments rolling

I like the way the forum looks. The colors are not too far apart from each other, meaning that it's not too harsh.

The text size could be a little more differentiated between the texts in the blue bars and the text in the boxes describing the forums.

I don't like it. It feels too dark, needs a better logo, and just needs to be simpler.

KISS principle.

Please be more specific.

Needs a better logo why? does it not match? poorly designed?

Simpler how? I purposefully included only 10 forums to keep it simple.

I think the sub-forums you added are very useful. I also think I might be able to add to/clarify what boldstepdesign said. I feel like the text on the logo does not stand out from the rest of the site. I would try making the text black or white. I do like the drop shadow behind the text, though.
