I am just getting started so be gentle. I sent the link to a few people who said they could only see the code, so if you get that let me know what you think the problem is. I have checked it on several computers and it always comes up for me. I am trying to figure out how to change the site to a fixed width. Check it out at http://closetoday.com

I can just view the code. When I copied both the source to the main frame page and the one it is calling (which code is being displayed) and put it on my server it works fine.

Yeah your page renders as raw source code, try contacting your host or ISP

You need to name your files with an extension .html

The only one not named as .html was the main page (which is forwarded) to my other domain. I have updated it and just waiting for godaddy to refresh.

Just changing a file extension to .html doesn't require you to wait. That is only for adding a new .htaccess file. Even editing a .htaccess file is not supposed to require a wait.

joder,
the file the url was pointed to was /ct
I had to point it to /ct.html and rename the file which took a few minutes for godaddy to refresh and point to the new file. Can you see the site now?

Yes. It wanted an extension to know what you were feeding it.

Well it’s good for a first design (you should have seen my first one). There are a few things that I would consider, first you have a really nice logo in the content of your page and the header is not so great, why don’t you use your nice one in the header? And also I would try and align your side content body with the header it is uneven. Good luck.

Yeah I think I would change the header. Maybe a picture of a nice house with a sold real estate sign and a happy couple in front of it? Just a suggestion, I could see everything without a problem.

Hi Rob.

Design is pretty nice. If it's really your first design - when you definetly have good future

But I found one seriour problem - you're using framesets. It's better to avoid frames by many reasons. For instance, there is no simple way for customer to bookmark the page he/she interested in. Another problem - such websites are badly rated by SEO.

In case if you need to have simple way to manager by header/footer/menu part - it's better to try out SSI (server side includes - it should be supported by GoDaddy).

But anyway - I like you design and it's hard to believe it's your first experience!

Hi,
I have no problem to open your website. But some people may face problem to open your website, for this solution you have to contact your website host who will fix the problem.

To make attractive website you should improve your home page.

Good Luck

Design looks great! Good work.

That's a big security hole, exposing raw code.

Also, your site is not w3 compliant:
This page is not Valid HTML 4.01 Strict!

Clean site with lots of free white space which makes everything clear and visible. The logo in the content of the page is cool. Use it in the header instead of the text.
