The web idea is original, but I thing u should change some things of the layout:

- The background color (try other tonalitys)

- The right menu is HORRIBLE. Really, delete this pencils of your website.

- The ads font size is so big, and you can try with other color too

- Design a logo -> you use 2 different books (one 4 the fabicon and other for the header)

- Delete the links section (if you wanna look more profesional)

Your logo is just cool man. Good layout. Lots of white space and very easy to navigate. The only thing is that the ads are a little overpowering.
