I`m putting together a new design. The overall template theme has been put together, now it`s a case of putting in the content.
I was looking at creating a demonstration on the homepage/index showing what products we`ll be offering. Keep that up for a week or two until the main site is completed and launched.
We run a website that displays climate data and geo-sciences, a lot of the charts are generated inhouse on our own servers. We want to show off these charts in some way.
I was tempted to try a flash slideshow however my knowledge of flash is about zero. Ideally, each product should have a brief text explanation next to it, then roll onto the next item.
Anyone have some ideas they can offer? If not a slideshow what other options is there for demonstrating products on a webpage prior to a new site launch?
