Can anyone tell me what font they think looks best in the navigation bar? thanks in advance

I'd have to say 7 or 10 - K.I.S.S - easy and much better readability. Besides, unless you're going to be making them images (which would not be good), then you're limited to what fonts you can use anyway as not all users will have all the 'fancy' fonts.

Pretty much a dead end... you can really only stick with standard fonts and even those a user doesn't need to have

LadynRed are right here to tell us all the truth. You should use standart fonts - look at Verdana - it's my favourite sans-serif font. Also, as SmegiLX said you should use css to manipulate with founts and their styles.

I have to agree with most people here, 7 is simple, and the most easy to read, now why not make a shortlist and create about 10 links for each font to see how the font would look if you used it, hope thats clear.
