Hi !

I'm really new web design and dont know much. I have a website for learning spanish, and i want to send an email out once a week with information etc... but i have no idea how to do it and im going crazy.

My web host has some thing called PHPList, but i can't use it... when I try to send mails they are formatted weird, they dont seem to go to half the people in my list, and they go in like 3 different files..its really weird..

I just need something extremely basic, it doesnt have to do anything special, I can add and remove all the people myself as the list is small, it just has to be able to email about 200 people.

I tried to use this program Thunderbird and just send it like regular emails, but if i do that then it displays all 200 names in the email.. or if i set them to BCC, hotmail automatically puts it in junkmail which is a problem since 90 % of my list uses hotmail.

Can someone advice me with a program or just an easy way to run an extremely simple, small mailing list?

Although I do not have a program to suggest you to use, I do have some other alternative methods to allow you to send out your annoucement to your subscribers.

Method 1:
Sign up a mail listing account at diaryland.com or search up at Google or Yahoo for your desired one.

Method 2:
Use hotmail, gmail or yahoo, and add all of your subscribers' emails to your contact list, you'd be able to send them easily by grouping them in a group and click on the group which you want to send your email to will do the job.

Also, do include a gentle reminder under the mailing list subscription that they should always check their junk mail for your email and also, tell them to mark it as not a junk mail.
