Those of us who design sites for a living will appreciate this bit of humor:

There are 4 parts.
This is part 2:

Congratulations! You are now the proud owner of your very own Web Designer! But now what do you do?
It is important that you carefully read this manual. A well-cared for Designer will be a loyal new asset to your website for many weeks and months to come.

You have successfully activated your new Web Designer and now you’re ready to begin testing out your new Web Designer’s features. This section of the manual will highlight the different things that go on inside of your new Web Designer’s brain. By understanding how your new purchase works, you’ll be able to communicate better and reach solutions faster.
Step #2: Understanding your Web Designer.

First, we’ll go over the multiple programs that are installed in your new Web Designer’s brain. A quality product, such as the one you have just purchased, comes standard with these plug-ins:
Artist 7.5 (also known as Graphic Designer 4.9)
Journalist 6.30.1
Attorney 2.2
Project Manager 8
Psychologist 4.41
Marketing Director 5.2
Tech Support 7.3
Accountant 6.70
Please note that these plug-ins are installed and work with the program Web Designer 10.5
At first glance, it may seem that your new Designer has a ton of scattered info in their head. This is not the case. Your new Designer has its very own internal organization system that masterfully organizes all of this data and calls relevant data forth when the initial program, Web Designer 10.5, needs it.
Sadly, this organization system is not always compatible with other systems.

Sometimes it may seem as if your new Designer is a scatterbrain, due to all the various plug-ins and information libraries. But, just keep in mind that your Designer can multi-task in their sleep. Your new Web Designer is organized, but may have a hard time communicating this.
If you feel frustrated and are having trouble understanding your new purchase, then you may need to go in and manually activate the “Tech Support 7.3” plug-in. This is done very easily with four simple words: “Explain it to me”. A well-crafted designer will respond amicably to these words and should resolve any communication issues.

Don’t be fooled if your new Web Designer doesn’t look or act like a geek. All of your Web Designer’s software and plug-ins are running in OS G. This means that your web designer has an interesting sense of humor and a natural gravitation to shiny electronics.

If you have any questions on how to understand and communicate with your new Web Designer, please fill out the form below. These instructions were written by a Web Designer and may not make very much sense.
