Was it always like that? Did you change code somewhere?

I have just solved the problem

the main thing was the doctype - not quite sure why but my ex-doctype
(-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN) gave IE a headache. When I removed the doctype tag - tada (the sound when the win98 shuts down) - everything works like a swiss clock...

If you can visit the page and let me know if the problem's been fixed on your ie also (because they ALL differ ( )

Removing the DOCTYPE throws IE into QUIRKS mode-- which is generally NOT good. Did you have an XML statement BEFORE the DOCTYPE before ??

I see your site is FRAMES -- did you use the proper XHTML FRAMESET doctype ????

BTW -- frames are bad....

Yea frames are gross. Are your sure your doctype was not just formatted improperly. This happened to me before and you shouldn't remove the doctype just correct it.

well the frames are there just for user-submitted content generally my website is fun.blog-stuff.net and when I open it without frames it looks normal I'll have to change that doctype these days... The daoctype was formatted correctly -> it's Joomla CMS template
