I am looking for a good portal with a Forum and a Classified Ads sections.
Can phpBB be integrated with Joomla or Mambo?
Is there a Classified Ads module that I can use with Joomla or Mambo?
Do you know any other portal that integrates a forum and provides a classified Ads section?

phpnuke sucks hard

xoops is very good. i never heard someone complaining about security, but it concerns me that there aren't any good security modules out there.... i use it myself on a site, and i'm very happy with it

I have tried nuke and I hated it. I tried xoops, and joomla stuff and did not like the admin panel.
I think I may try vb advanced

have you used the classifed module of xoops..?
xoops comes preinstalled on my server.. I have downloaded the classified module but cannot get it to work when I upload it to the server through dreamweaver. I only have the regular xoops.
