Hi,

I am having a strange problem with the FrontPage registration on my site. I am designing a website using FrontPage 2002 and Server Extensions and am getting some strange results when using the registration form handler (to allow users to create accounts for themselves on a subweb). Allow me to demonstrate:

The following is a registration form that does not have any confirmation or failure pages set. That is, FrontPage displays the default success/failure pages, which are not visually appealing:

You will notice that registration works fine with that page. However, whenever I add registration success and/or failure pages, the following happens: no matter what username you enter (no matter how unique) an error is returned saying that it is already taken. However, it obviously hasn't because if you click on the link on the page marked "Return to the registration form" you will actually be taken to the page I set as the success confirmation page and are then able to log in with the username/password you just created. Try it:

Why is this happening? Could it be a problem with the FrontPage Server Extensions (which I do not manage)? Or, is it a problem with my site/form settings?
