Way to much contrast. I would suggest you make your links a softer blue instead of the generic link blue. Also bring out the light pink color you have going; it's the right idea just needs to be a bit more in your face. Also the content on the right "we are talking about" is VERY distracting and doesn't really need to be in your face like that. I suggest you get rid of the blue of the section, to a black, or dark gray, and make the container thinner, with a light gray background.
