I have been really struggling on where to find a good template for my website. If you guys have a template that you think would fit good with the name: Brothers Variety Store then please post them. I will do the customization to them. I do not want to pay at the moment, cause I want to try and tackle customizing on my own, but I don't know what would be a good template.

I bought through template monster, it was ok, they sucked when it came to customer service

But I would check out. www.oswd.org

They have free templates withy a few designers that have rules. But they have a bunch for you to check out

you should try: www.freelayouts.com i havnt used it but it seems to look quite good quality.

A total WOFTAM!

Not to mention the time wasted opening every bloody file to see what was in it because they don't have a gallery where you can view thumbnails and half their stuff won't open in other viewers plus, if I remember right, you have to unzip everything first which is pretty time-consuming.

Plus a lot of their stuff is just grabbed from other sites.

And some of their so called PSD files are just jpegs that I suspect they've grabbed from someone else and can't be edited.

I wouldn't be too confident about copyright issues using their websites.

They have a few decent designs but they're about point one percent of the 10,000 or whatever templates they offer.

As for customer service, I didn't realise they had any. I'm just basing that on the complete absence of any response to emails.

Not too original, as it turns out.

After posting I found that Praveen has a sticky at the top of this forum which has links to templatesbox.com and other sites for inspiration.

You could add http://www.layouts4free.com/

I got a few free ones at my site.... www.compjason.com, You can check out my prmeium templates even though you said you didn't want to pay.
