Hello--

I'm using Dreamweaver 8 and am unable to cut and paste text into my documents. This problem only exists in DW8. It will not allow me to cut and paste text from any other app and place it into DW8. I have tried to unistall the program and reinstall but still the problem is not solved. As one can imagine, it's very frustrating. I have a call into Maco tech support as well. If anyone has any suggestions, please share them. Cheers, Monty

Maybe it has something to do with the paste special.

While u'r in the DW8 window click on the Ctrl+Shift+V buttons.

U will see a paste special options, try to play with it a bit, maybe it will help...

Hey all--

I just got off the phone with tech support at Macromedia. Here's what I had to do to fix the problem: go to apps and documents folder on the C drive, go to dreamweaver folder, go to to configuration folder and rename that folder. They told me to rename it configurationold. When I relaunched Dreamweaver it worked!!
