Hello

I set my newsletter to work like this
If you use my free search engine submission your email address gets put into a database and from that point you will recive a advertisment news letter every 2 weeks "programmed on a timer"

If you are a member your address is put unto another mailing list that has actual content and advice about search engines. the key is is this is where i promote my selected affiliates for commision!

Seems to work prety good. does anyone else have new ideas!

Just make sure that you state very clearly that people are being subscribed to a newsletter. And be sure to specify exactly what the newsletter is about, etc.

You wouldn't want to get in trouble for 'SPAM', even if they signed up for your newsletter.

it's better to upfront publish a newsletter and ezine and solicit subscribers on the site itself and promote it on different newsletter/ezine directory available out there majority wanting free listings. and publish your autoresponder/subscribe email.
