Hi im starting a PPC search engine and am wanting some feedback/suggestions on the following.

Is contacting the webmasters of other PPCSE's to trade links the best way to go for getting traffic and building link popularity or would it just be better to just submit it to as many places I can find?.
For keeping the traffic I havent got much just some news feeds, polls ect. Should i have more? What do you suggest?

Also for SEO what keywords world you suggest to use to draw in traffic?

youll find that a lot of ppc search engines have recip links at the bottom of the page so i take it that a lot of them do this to get traffic

I am also starting one PPC with Smarterscripts SmartSearch 4.29. Do you recommend ?

Just a couple of ideas
1. Do what GoTo used to do. Pay people 1c or 2c per search. Don't bother with all this 'x% of the income we get' stuff, just get people searching.
2. Offer some sort of XML or similar feed for people to integrate your search into their sites, give them a percentage of all income.
