I'm developing a new site and have just one keyword -- "antiaging". I have some images, and will have 7-25 bullets. Per some advice I've gotten I put the keyword "antiaging" in virtually every alt tag for each of the bullets, and other minor images. Most of the alt tags are a little different, for example "antiaging home", "antiaging physician", even "antiaging johnny", etc.

But it just seems like this is a kind of "trick" that we've been advised against and getting a feeling that if this isn't handled right the SEs will throw me out for good.

So if I should take them out and re-upload before the spiders come crawling please let me know.

If I need to pay someone who does this all the time for an expert opinion please let me know.

Thank you very much.

Johnny

Personally I wouldn't overdo it like that. All these tricks have been done before and if you get blocked from a big engine (such as Google) your site's popularity will be ruined. It's not really worth the risk.

You may want to try using variations instead of the exact same word over and over again.

Like "anti-aging", "prevent aging", "stay young", etc. Break out a thesaurus and see what else you can come up with along the same lines.

Not everyone who may be interested in what your site has to offer will use the same search terms. Give a few options and it may help to increase your traffic, as well as keeping you out of trouble.

yeah don't use the same words like SyrenSong said.
I found it to be effective if you have the alt keywords in your text.
so if you write about antiaging, then use one or 2 alt tags using that keyword, and use it in our text in bold and in italic. SE's seem to like that since the bold and italic emphasizes the keyword.

edit: not sure if the above was clear.
In your text use: antiaging, antiaging, antiaging and antiaging
and use antiaging in your alt tags.

repeat that for other keywords, but don't overdo it since it does not make sense to have keyword 2, keyword 2 and keyword 2 up to keyword 10, repeated 10 times, aight?

Seems to be that overkill in any area of SEO is asking for trouble...
