Hi, first of all I do not have much experience in any type of programming. I am trying to see where to start building a small online portal. In the portal a registered user should be able to comment on news and other articles, while non-registered users can read the articles and comments/reviews/forums. Is it possible to have all of the content on the site connected with a forum so the user only registers once and has full access? Along with this how would I add in polls, surveys, newsletters,rating scales, and other little things throughout the site where they fit best. Basically the idea is something like TeenSpot.com (same type of idea).I know this is a lot of areas to cover but is there a good starting point anywhere and how do I start there? Any ideas would be helpful. |
