IMO I dont think you have anything to worry about.... theose buttons are just CSS.... plus you are a UK site and the other site is a US site.... while the sites may look similiar as long as you didnt steal any of their images or "site specific" items then I dont think you have much to worry about.....
and noticing the copyright dates it looks as if you where first...
