I have a friend who just started a web site and it is being blocked bymy companies web filtering software. I told him I would look into this and try to figure out a way in which we could overcome this censorship. Does anyone have any ideas or know where i can go to get help on this issue?

Your companies IT Department would be a good place to start, provided you're not violating any contracts or policies...

No I do not want to conctact them they won't help me with this problem. I know it's just a matter of changing the way the site is identified as, but how do we do that?
