Am looking for a CMS that doesnt look like a typical CMS like phpnuke, mambo which just put the news on home page in order.. and archive them..
I mean, i liked someting like www.phpcow.com but the only thing it lacks is downloads area.. except dat its quite fine.. are there any other CMS either free or paid available.. (be it news CMS or any CMS)..
If you want something for free it can hardly meet all your requirements. If you are familiar with programming and SQL you can modifie some open source system to fit your needs or make your own.. if not.. well order it.. I ricently had to write such a system to fit for a real estate ageny cos there was nothing good enough on the web.
Adopting something is not always a good idea so the best solution (not in short therm financial way) is to write your own to fit your specific needs. Check the difference:
