Hi,
I'm looking for information on how I set up a forum for my website. I would like to add a few forums actually. These forums will be used so that people can write film reviews and discuss other issues such as television shows and the latest computer games.
I am strictly a visual designer, and not a programmer so my programming skills are zero. Are there any tutorials that explain (Leymans Terms) step by step how to do this. I have Dreamweaver for Dummies but even looking at that can be wayover my head. If there is anyone out there who could help me I would be very grateful, and I am also willing to help anyone in the visual design department in exchange for this knowledge.
Thank You
Jason from the UK

Or for ASP Servers:

There are others...

Or make your own, if you're up to it... although it might be a bit of a mission.

Yup, there's probably lots of forum software floating around - the ones posted here tend to be the most popular.

www.suddenlaunch.com do a fully hosted froo forum I think. My cheerleading squad uses it... a little small and simple but it does the job. Might try and talk them into moving away from it when I finish designing their full site...

You can always write your own as well, if you just want something simple or specific...

If they are still using YaBB no need to register there. It's a very weak forum script, although years ago it was quite popular. I had a forum hosted there and had to move to phpBB since Yabb was seriously outdated.
