Hi guys, looking into setting discussion boards on a web site and would like to know which ones are good out there right now? I've heard of phpBB, Invision, vBadvanced, VBulletin... but which ones have you tried that are good and secure? Also are there any good galleries like PhotoPost that can be integrated with the boards?

VBulletin i think is the best an most secure. Though it costs money and thats the only negative part. If you are creating a big forum you should get VBulletin or else i would just go with phpBB.

Thanks for reply Christian, do u know if vBulletin comes with something like gallery? Or does anyone know any gallerys that are compatible with forums? where forum users can upload their pics to?

Most forum allows loading of member's pics (avatar)... so i think that goes the same for vBulletin

For my choice, i will use phpBB... It's quite easy to install and use oso.. *thumbs up*

i think post nuke has the copper mine gallery so maybe a phpbb version is about
