Hi,

Looking for some feedback or even URLs that give tips for increasing the amount of forms getting filled out on a website.

I read to make it as short as possible, but any other tips??

All feedback is appreciated. Thanks

It all depends on the nature of the form. What are you trying to promote and how?

It is a mortgage related product. They are getting a free quote.

The page is here:

http://www.rtgconsultants.com/free_r..._analysis.html

Conversion is about 1:30, maybe worse, which is horrible considering all the traffic to that page is highly filtered.

Any feedback is helpful

I think the biggest issue with the form is that people don't want to give out the contact information for fear that will get alot of junk email, postal mail and phone calls. You don't have a disclaimer on your site that says "we aren't going to share your email address, phone number, or address or any of your personal information with anyone"

This dislaimer should be at the top of the page not down at the bottum in fine print.

I got cptnwinky's reply notification via email. I'm not sure if that is a technical issue. I will forward the email to admin.

I was wondering why I did not recieve a notification for this.

Grant, I don't think color is going to do that much in converting users. You simply need to build trust, as well, most people who are looking to get a mortgage are not looking for someone who is going to market them to the highest bidder. They are looking for someone who will give them a loan, in other words they want straight answers.
